With the launch of the new IT-300 handheld device, CASIO offers a device that combines the user-friendliness of smartphones with the security and performance of an industrial PDA. Suitable for a wide range of applications – from warehouse management to retail staff communications, and even healthcare and service solutions – the IT-300 is a slim, lightweight device that is tough enough to withstand the rigours of a busy working environment. It is dust and splash proof in accordance with IP54, will work in temperatures ranging from -20 to +50°C and can even survive drops from 1.5m.

In creating the IT-300, CASIO engineers have successfully maintained a balancing act between a warehouse terminal and a business PDA device. The slim device sits comfortably in your hand and can be operated via the large touchscreen, much in the same way as a smartphone. Thanks to the large VGA display (480 x 640 pixels), videos (MPEG-4/WMV) can be played back in realistic colours and PDF documents, EXCEL® tables, Powerpoint® presentations, graphics and photos can to be viewed in clear detail. The IT-300 is the first CASIO handheld device to offer a capacitive screen, which, in conjunction with Windows Mobile 6.5.3, can process multitouch gestures. When working with documents, the zoom, rotate and page down functions can all be accessed easily at the touch of your finger.
